Aaron Plattner, MD

Aaron started working at ACCFS in 2015. He utilizes telepsychiatry from his office in Grand Rapids to Morton Illinois providing both supportive therapy and medication management for psychiatric symptoms. He is a Medical Doctor who is Board Certified in Psychiatry and is licensed to practice in Illinois and Michigan.
In Michigan, Aaron works primarily in an inpatient unit caring for those with chronic mental illness. He also provides Transmagnetic Stimulation (TMS) for depression and is active in teaching medical students and psychiatric residents.
Aaron obtained his BS in Nutritional Sciences at Kansas State University, MD at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and completed his Psychiatry residency at Rush University Medical Center. He has worked at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services since 2011. He has always had a primary focus on treating psychotic disorders in adults.
Aaron is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Christian Medical and Dental Association, and the Association of Directors of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry.
Aaron and his family live in Grand Rapids and are members of the Apostolic Christian Church of Alto.
