Staff Counselor

Sandy received her Master’s degree in Education in School Counseling in 1982 from Illinois State University. Prior to this she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Illinois State University in 1970. She taught in several grade schools and summer migrant programs until 1993 when she became Education Coordinator at Gateway Woods Children’s Home in Leo, IN. She held this job until she decided in 1998 to become a Physician’s Assistant. She received her Physicians Assistant degree in 2002 from Midwestern University and then worked as a Physician’s Assistant in Mexico, South Texas, and Peoria, IL.  Sandy joined ACCFS in 2009.

Sandy is a member of the Apostolic Christian Church at Peoria, Illinois. 

Clinical Interests:  Women’s issues.  Depression, anxiety, relationships.
