Description:  This presentation is designed to help women develop a Christ-centered view of self as made in the image of God.  Three goals of the presentation are:

  • To encourage women to develop and deepen their relationship with God.
  • To identify obstacles that hinder acceptance of a Christ-centered view of self and obstacles that interfere with deepening a relationship with Him.
  • To help women build discernment skills to be able to filter the distorted messages they learn from life and society and to counter them with truth from the Word.

  • Discernment of messages from the media and society
  • Body Image
  • Eating Disorders and food-related struggles
  • Relationships

Audience:  This presentation is available in different formats and can be presented to a variety of women's groups including:

  • College young groups
  • Single women, ages 14 to young adult
  • Single women, ages 14 to young adult with their mothers
  • Women, ages 14 and older

Length & Format:  Varies

  • The presentation is 2.5 hours long
  • A PowerPoint presentation is used
  • It can be presented alone or combined with other activities planned by the host church.
  • When combined with other activities, half-day and whole day options are available.
